Respectful assistance with everyday personal activities based around your individual needs, routines and preferences.
Support may include assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating and other daily activities identified within your NDIS plan and support arrangements.
Individualised support to help you manage everyday activities within your home and maintain greater independence.
Your support is developed around the assistance you need rather than expecting you to fit into a standard service model.
Support to access your community, attend appointments, participate in activities, maintain social connections and pursue the things that are important to you.
Assistance with mobility and transfers provided by appropriately matched workers who are trained according to your individual support requirements.
YWSS has experience supporting people with significant physical disabilities and substantial daily support requirements.
We can establish dedicated teams with worker training and competencies tailored to the individual's support needs.
We have experience establishing and maintaining consistent support teams for people requiring extensive or around-the-clock assistance.

Support workers can become an important part of everyday life, particularly when someone receives regular or high levels of support.

We work with you to identify workers who are appropriately matched to your needs, preferences and support requirements.
Where appropriate, we can also discuss existing support workers who you may wish to continue working with.
Our focus is on developing stable, reliable support teams and long-term relationships wherever possible.
Some participants require substantially greater levels of assistance because of the nature of their disability and individual support needs.

Our approach is centred on developing a stable, appropriately skilled team around the individual, while maintaining their choice, dignity, routines and preferences.
Where a participant has additional or complex support requirements, having the right people is only part of the solution.
Workers may also require training and competency specific to the individual's needs.
Where appropriate, YWSS can work with relevant health and allied-health professionals to ensure workers receive appropriate training and competency assessment for the supports they are expected to provide.
This allows us to develop a support team based not only on personality and compatibility, but also on the skills and competencies required by the individual.
YWSS recognises that disability support is often one part of a much larger support network.
Depending on your individual circumstances, we can work collaboratively with:
